C13 Claessens oil primed BELGIAN LINEN - ACM Panel

Claessen's C13 is an oil primed Belgian linen surface which has a very fine texture weave and is ideal for Portraits and other detailed works.
The linen is then adhered on our high quality Aluminium composite  panel with our special archival museum grade adhesive which is neutral . Aluminium Composite Panels are designed as a stable, lightweight, and archival backing for professional artists and conservators.The panel consists of a rigid aluminium composite core that provides excellent dimensional stability while remaining significantly lighter than traditional solid boards.ACP backing is moisture-resistant, warp-resistant, and inert, making it suitable for long-term preservation of artworks. Unlike wood-based supports, aluminium composite panels do not expand, contract, or off-gas acidic compounds, helping to protect the integrity of paint layers over time.When paired with archival, neutral pH adhesives, ACP offers a reliable support for mounted canvas and linen, ensuring the artwork remains flat and structurally secure. This backing is ideal for oil, acrylic, and mixed-media works, especially in climates with fluctuating humidity.
