Claessen's C13 is an oil primed Belgian linen surface which has a very fine texture weave and is ideal for Portraits and other detailed works.
The linen is then adhered on our high quality mdf melamine backed panel with our special archival museum grade adhesive which is neutral and doesn't react with the surface or the paint layers.
These panels prevents your paintings from damage, during conservation or preservation purpose.
*Do not drop the panels down or hit the edge , these canvas panels are archival and not for drop test.

So I ordered a 10"X10" from this series for my detailed oil portrait painting and this is my first time trying an oil primed canvas panels. The roll from this brand is pretty expensive and I can't afford to buy them at one go ,but thanks to Cladstels fine art for bringing this service to all Indian artist . I have used many canvas boards from India but they were not crafted with this level of quality . Not just the surface but the backing is so beautifully done and I'm excited to paint my commission work on this one.
